SCORM 2004 4th Edition is recommended: it reports completion and pass or fail separately, a scaled score, progress and every answer. SCORM 1.2 is for older systems: one status (passed, failed or incomplete), the score and every answer. Each element is its own package, so you can assign them one at a time as the course goes on.

How to import it

1. MoodleAdd an activity or resource, choose SCORM package, upload the zip. Set Grading method to Highest grade and, under Completion, require a passing grade.
2. CanvasCourse settings, Import course content, content type SCORM package (or the SCORM tool your administrator installed), upload the zip, then publish the assignment it creates.
3. Cornerstone, Docebo, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday Learning, TalentLMSCreate a new course or online content item, choose SCORM (2004 if offered), upload the zip, and assign it. The pass mark comes from the package.
4. Tooling U-SME and other industry learning platformsAsk your administrator to add the zip as custom or third-party SCORM content beside your existing catalogue; it runs alongside their courses and reports the same way.
5. Testing before you roll outUpload the zip to a free SCORM Cloud trial to watch exactly what the package reports before your LMS team imports it.
